I'm disappointed that it's only peak only but I see they'll slot in between the existing Crystal Palace and West Croydon services giving some relief to the already busy West Croydon's which are packed by the time they get to Forest Hill.

Those peak Southern Norwood Junction to London Bridge and back to Sutton in the evening are an easy cut as they can cram those passengers on Windrush line services.

It's worth noting that since Transport UK London replaced Go-Ahead on the Southern RRBs in South London, I've noticed a lot more sub-contracted operators running those New Cross Gate to Crystal Palace services.

Southern have already done this with the replacement of the New Cross Gate to West Croydon RRBs by cutting them to Crystal Palace and having ticket validity on Route 157 which serves the remaining stations except Penge West where passengers can use routes 176 and 197 instead from Sydenham...
