Apparently using coal mined locally is bad for the environment, but letting another country do it and then importing it into the UK is fine. Also, jobs don't matter if they are mining coal. Unless its the early 80's, then it really matters.

May I ask the rules on "ticking off a station". Do you have to board/disembark/both for it to "count"? Can you quickly get on and off the same train for it to count? Do you have to spend a certain amount of time there? Any other "rules" ? Genuinely interested in how this works.
