hey just wondered what the normal route of career progression was once you were a train driver, where could you go if you wanted to change still within the rail industry ? what do most drivers do ?
i saw a db schenker fraight engine pulling a chiltern passanger train friday eve, is this common and why does it happen. would chiltern have to have hired the freight engine ? and would it be a chiltern driver driving it or would it have been a DB train driver
does anyone now how they asess or do they test for colourblindness during your medical for becoming a train driver. i can see all the spectrum of colours but slightly concerned
thanks spad. im going on a course tomorow that should give me more insight into it. but if you have first hand knowledge of the assesment centre that would be very usefull. also what kind of scores are they looking at you to achieve on the assesment or do they whittle it down to the highest...
does anyone know of any online resources i can use to help prepare myself to pass a trainee train driver assesment, i have been doing lots of pyschometric testing but i think i may be going to broad with the tests
