Yea the picture on Twitter is mine, It came down to Kirkconnel from the North, Was crossing back over to go to the sidings at Kirkconnel when it came off on the Cross over, There is damage to the leading bogie, when I left it was sitting in Platform 2 while they attempted to get the track sorted...
As far as im aware the plan is still to reopen on monday, crane is on site and they expect to have site cleared by tomorrow night, track reinstated by sunday and trains running again by monday

i dont think thats what he is saying, he is merely stating that usually the press would jump on that sort of stuff, in this occasion there is no mention of the properties close proximity
I agree however the aerial shot does seem to be a railway based shot and most of the newspapers all used...
yea not to mention for the moment you still have the constant reminder still sitting outside your back door, i was down 2 nights ago taking some more pictures, some were taken from outside your property, there is one that has your boundary fence in it so also shows how close the train came, from...
all the pictures i have seen in the press are the aereal shot which for some reason does not show your house or the stables, and close ups of wagons or the engine, none of the papers seem interest in how close it came to being a disaster even at lower speed
