My Pal lives on the Hill (Totterdown) overlooking the Fruit Market and the GWR) depot. I do not think he is worried about the steam trains but the 'Air Pollution' from the daily fumes. As when the wind blows his wife gets spots of grease on the washing (so he says).

This is the first time I have posted, only joined this evening - so if this has been addressed else where - forgive me Does any one know if the exhaust emissions from Diesels is covered by legislation, like lorries are ? Only a friend of mine has just moved to a house overlooking the GWR...
