Same here. Heard nothing since I sent back the atoc forms. I've heard of 2 being offered the job pending medicals.

Doncaster and Leeds are on the list of depots. It's the assessment days that are York/kings X (and a couple of other locations for non qualified it seems)

It's a possibility. All correspondence I've had has said the same thing "we love your CV and letter" I feel my cover letter was very strong and word count for the two paragraphs was 97 and 100.

I think the assessments for the qualifieds and non qualifieds are different as I had just 2 dates to choose from. One date was York and the other kings X. It also said in my email that if successful at the assessment stage a medical would be booked at a later date.

I have also had an invite (I'm qualified and didn't do the online test) so I have responded and asked for the York assessment day. Hope to meet some of you there �� EDIT - I found mine in my junk folder after reading others had received an invite...so check there too!

This is true, they told me not to complete the 2 assessments emails they had sent me about 2 days after I'd completed them.

I think there seems to be a common misconception here that if you're not a spotter, or don't have an interest in trains then you're no good for the job and are in it for the money. Well, from my experience TOCS and FOCS don't want spotters/cranks because the majority have a know it all...
