Only on this forum could the points I'm making be in any way controversial. People's overwhelming view is the railway is an unreliable rip off and everyone's answer on here is "raise prices more!" "ticket complexity is good actually!"

Oh yes, no doubt these trains are less busy than they were, it used to be very difficult to get a seat all the way back at Haywards Heath, now it's easy. It's still a lot of people being shifted every day but it's definitely less than it was. Not really a bad thing from a passenger's perspective...
