With Newport West, Somerton and Llanwern in the pipeline surely we can’t be many years away from Newport Central (Casnewydd Canolog) becoming a reality?

I think the intention with TFW PAYG is to extend it to bus services once franchising is introduced in South East Wales in 2029 - much like Oyster in London. I don’t see how brining GWR PAYG into the picture would help with this. I’m sure WECA will be working on some scheme of transport...

If CrossCountry accept TFW PAYG (given the operator’s tiny footprint in the South Wales Metro area) and are able to validate cards then surely GWR could be given access to the database as well? Either CrossCountry accept TFW PAYG without being able to validate cards or GWR don’t have the right...

I used it a couple of times over the last few days and it worked really well - although probably helped by taking simple journeys between main stations. It’s a real shame that they still haven’t got GWR on board yet - I think it would boost PAYG use significantly on mainline services. Are there...

There are a number of small areas accessible only via a level crossing along the west Wales line between Kidwelly and Ferryside, including Kidwelly Quay and Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park.
