Hot weather off-peak semi-fast Met trains

I do wonder if the semi fast confuses matters if it's only skipping two stations, what is the actual time saving?

    1992 stock Refurbishment?

The S stock? Surely the '09 stock is in more need?

    1992 stock Refurbishment?

The night tube he stole the glory for. Regarding the '92 refurb, I caught my first one the other day. I use the Central line most days and cannot believe it's taken this long, and only makes me question what a long road to completion the scheme will be at the rate it is going.

    Slowwwwww progress in other words...

    Dale Charman to leave LUL

I had always assumed the Victoria line would be the starter line: fairly mundane, stuck below ground and automatic. The Piccadilly line, conversely, has a lot of route variety, good balance of dark/light sections and is technically more demanding as one that needs to be driven.

Hot weather off-peak semi-fast Met trains

That's quite significant, they ought to make it clearer on the in-car line diagram. Mind you, the Elizabeth line in-car diagrams don't even show their fast/semi-fast services! So on that basis, it's a luxury.

Hot weather off-peak semi-fast Met trains

How regular are semi fasts during week days? And don't some skip Wembley Park despite this not being made clear on the line diagrams?

S Stock feels dated despite age

Yes I'm hearing the S stock air con temperature is cooler than the Elizabeth line.

Publicity and the Launch of the (Fleet) Jubilee line

There was certainly promotional material showing the Fleet line and art work to show how it would interact with other lines at stations. However, given no social media, it does lead me to assume it would have been a more modest affair. Does anyone have any lived experiences of what it was like...

2024 Tube Stock (Siemens Inspiro London)

I noticed new cameras at Finsbury Park, presumably to feed the in-cab monitors? They're hanging on new gantries alongside the existing ones, a similar shape/size.

S Stock feels dated despite age

The light holders are problematic because bugs can get in through the holes, but die within the fixture and rest on the holes rather than falling through them!

Green text and capital M for "Mins" right? Yes I've seen those elsewhere too.

    LU old announcement

Metronet had a different system voiced by Sarah Parnell. However, yes, many Metronet stations had the Voice Perfect system already in place.
