Just for clarity, journey should have been London to Wigan north western, d1630, a1825 wigan Wallgate to Southport, d1837, a1910 what actually happened was this Avanti depart London euston 1630, arrived in Wigan 1852 (27 mins late) the northern 1837 (the connection I would have missed)...
