    [Trivia] Passenger Trains That Often Carry No Passengers For Entire Route

    There is usually a dozen or so passengers on at Chesham, who generally bail at Chalfont or Ricky to get on the train from Amersham that's 7 minutes behind that followds the normal route to the City. I must admit generally the only people I see carried beyond Ricky are people that have fallen asleep!

    Trams proposed for Isle of Wight

    AFAIR the main problem that newer tube stock than the current 38TS presents is that of having a mainly aluminium body. This then suffers from electrolytic corrosion where it comes into contact with steel parts. Add salt water into the mix and it becomes quite a significant issue.

    Least used double track line?

    More than I would have thought, just having had a look at RTT for tomorrow 27th January there are 27 freight movements along the line.
