Hi folks, my mother is coming up from Seaford to Reading today - intending to start travel between 1400 and 1500 - is she clear - or are there any disruptions?

What happens to passengers caught out by that? Would they have zero excesses automatically given or their tickets validated in some way if they were carried beyond their destination against their will by the sudden decision change? Cos it would be completely unfair if they were penalised...

Personally, I'd probably assume the worst and buy the Travelcard....
