For anyone who may be interested 777004 will be on the Ellesmere port line this afternoon.

It wasn't exam, it had an issue en route to Southport and had to go back ECS to Kirkdale.

No point, doubt it will be in service by then anyway.

I think the Class 777's are wonderful units and certainly are fitting in well to the merseyrail network, I certainly know that Phil agrees with me!

777004 is in the process of being rebuilt ready to return to service. It was switched in yesterday in the maintenance shed.

I was referring to 001, I doubt very much that it is recieving an old livery, possibly just patching up the current one, but not too sure.

It's recieving attention at Birkenhead North from Stewart signs, no idea why.

The 777 was booked to come out of service and go on to Kirkdale for 09:50, being replaced by a 507/8. It's the same tomorrow and Wednesday, not sure about Thursday though.

Hi Al to be honest I think that you would be better off sending in a CV and a Cover letter to Rail house. Merseyrail do from time to time advertise in the local newspaper's .. The daily post or Liverpool echo.

Hi the reason they are spending a few bob on them is because they have extended the contract with angel trains So that we keep the units for another 5 years or so. To keep them running to the current standard they are going to require a few mod's below floor. Totally agree juniper driver, great...

Hi all very first post :D ..... I found out last night from one of our bosses that it has been agreed between ourselves and Angel trains that the 507's and 508's on our network (Merseyrail) are to have more modifications. This will be mainly below floor for example, New motor alternators etc...
