It's all very well, and welcome, adding more seats but the station car parks in Fife are regularly full by 07.30 anyway. They need to find a ton of additional parking from somewhere if commuters that aren't within easy walking distance of a station are to be able to transfer to rail.

I was on the 08.02 from Dunfermline, loco hauled train. As we were leaving Haymarket, the platform staff yelled out something like "get away from the train". When we got out of the tunnel, we sat under the Castle for a good 15 minutes whilst various Scotrail staff walked through the train...
