    They're made, the Toyota Aygo / Citroen C1 / Peugeot 108 are very simple cars but good. Sadly most buyers are buying terrible bland crossover type cars and cheap hatchbacks are dying out.

    Minor things on trains which irritate you

    I recently went on a Hull Trains Class 802 and was at the end of a carriage, could hear the overhead rack was vibrating on the wall and making a really annoying sound. Fixed by shoving a receipt in the gap.

    When I visited Tokyo last year, they have these announcements. In Japanese and English. It's very useful, it says something along the lines of "Please hold on, the train is switching tracks" Works well. But so does everything on their train system.
