from a comment made today during the annoucements, as far as we know a fully compliant bid was put in by BT - obviously things like this will not be released to the press etc due to legal implications overal just a sad day for employees and obviously everyone is fearing the worse - job...

what is frustrating is people are saying the bombardier bid must not have matched up to Siemens No one will know this as the bids are private, no information can be released as contracts havent been signed, even today during the annoucements at BT when questions were asked answers were dodged...
