FWIW, i was held at Grantham (was travelling back to Chelmsford from Burnley via Leeds). Completed my journey on Sunday, booked taxi from Grantham 2 hotel i booked on the night. LNER agreed 2 pay both, still awaiting on Avanti 4 delay repay though.
I can verify it was a pain being caught up in it coming back from Brighton.

Yeah. I looked 4 a Stansted train earlier, saw that was no option.
Managed to get an Über for £110 back to Chelmsford......hoping can claim back no issues.

TBH, 20 min connection on way out, 66 min on way back (have 2 do passport/security).
I'm OK with both, just asking re my rights/options with my tickets if delayed.
