I believe the plan would be to close the crossings at both Bollo Lane and Churchfield Road in Acton. A good idea really as both are already pretty backed up with queues with the current timetable. It remains to be seen where those cars would go!
Before extending to other destinations, there needs to be an increase in the west beyond Paddington / Old Oak Common. More trains to Heathrow calling at all stations. I also wonder whether the Hayes bay platform could be utilised more for all-stations shuttle into town.
I completely agree. As a commuter into town from Acton Main Line, it’s getting unbearable in the morning peak. Unable to board is the norm, with a further 15 minute wait for the next train, that is just as full.
Something needs to be done and it may have to be drastic!
I’m currently stuck just outside Paddington due to a trespasser in the Southall area.
There seems to be an increase in these events in recent months - plus new signage being placed at platform and track level by both Network Rail and TfL.
Has there been an increase, and if so why? Or do you...
Hi all - I’ve noticed these signs go up across Elizabeth line stations along each platform at frequent intervals, warning people not to stay off the tracks.
Is there a specific issue with people walking on the tracks or do we think this is a little bit overkill? Please discuss
Hello everyone.
I have a zones 1-3 Travelcard on an Oyster.
I am looking to travel between Ealing Broadway and Shenfield on the Elizabeth line. Do you know what I will be charged if I tap in at Ealing and out at Shenfield?
The single fare finder is slightly confusing me! Thank you in advance.
Hello all. Over the past week, I’ve noticed contract security guards at my local stations as well as boarding and patrolling the trains on the Elizabeth line.
Is this a new practise? Is it in response to something?
For context I’m based at Acton Main Line.
It's been a terrible week for the Elizabeth line, and those of us living in the western section have definitely felt it this week! It's very difficult to feel like it's a total success when there is such a lack of reliability.
Is it me or is this a change to where the operator logo is placed? Usually it's at the front. I am still not sure why it's needed as it makes the livery look a bit messy.
Hello all - purchasing a weekly season ticket (GWR smartcard) from Newbury to London Terminals, priced at £155.60.
My final destination will be Liverpool Street. Will this ticket allow me to use the Elizabeth line from Paddington to Liverpool Street or will I need to use contactless for this...
