    Ive applied for the scotland job also, after nothing happening for 2 months my status has changed to "invite to assessment pending".

    Cheers very helpful indeed. I dont mind it taking too long currently working thru a retention bonus period at work so for me the longer the better!!! Is it right signal school lasts 12 weeks full time? Oh and where is signal school? Thanks

    So I could be waiting weeks/months before I hear about the next stage? So have I got this right...if I get through assessments/interviews... do they send you to signal school ? or do you wait to then apply for positions and if you are successful you get a post? or do you have to get a post...

    Hi all. Very interesting thread here with lots of useful info. Ive applied for the Scotland Route - All Grades 1-7 Signaller role a few weeks back (I live up near Aberdeen) and have got up to confirmation of successful completion of the situational assessment. That has been a good 2 weeks...
