Somebody has asked me if I knew why the 0803 today was a 1x4 755 and if it went all the way to London. Fid it and was it because there is a shortage of 745s ? Thanks in advance.
Please excuse me piggy backing on this site but the 745 one seems to have vanished and I guess of readers watch both AGA FLIRT sites.
I hear a 745 went on a Norwich - Southend test run on 12th January. Does anyone know why and are there anyy interesting 'future intentions' ?
I am sure that this is not posted in the correct place but I am still unsure how to post a new thread. So please accept my apologies.
On Monday wekk ( 6/12 ) I shall be travelling to London on the 0800 NRW- LST ; a NiN service which we offer me first experience of savouring the delights of...
I had a dream !
If the NiN are resurected and remain booked for 2 x 755 would it be nice if hald started from Sheringham and half from Yarmouth and joined at Norwich recreating through trains of the past. Might help the loadings too !
Mention of a 755/3 with their well chronicled acceleration on a LST - NRW service has drawn the interesting question of how the performance of the 755 would compare with a two car 309. Are any of our more seneior driver colleagues able to provide an opinion ?
Not reqally a reply but I still don't know how to start a new thread. Sorry !
I hear that today a 755/3 worked from LST to NRW possibly on the 0830 down so would it be a fair assumption tat they are now passed for passenger service south of Marks Tey ?
