Whilst you are correct in thinking about driver hours, you also have to think about where the driver could end up running out of driving hours, there were a few drivers where it took 3 hours just to get to Preston...

What software are small/medium operators using for driver scheduling/rota? There appears to be little to no free software to help with this and I presume most are just done in simple spreadsheets?

Not sure if there are any people who are experts on Ticketer machines on here, I'm looking at putting driver duties on the machine, is this done through Ticketer themselves or is it a third party software?

I'm a driver at Stagecoach CNL, I drive E400 (PX12), Scania/E400 and E400 MMC (16/68/19 plates). From my experience, the 68 plates have the worst suspension, followed by 19 plates, 12 plates, 16 plates then the best being the Scania/E400s

The Accrington Local Services have been unsustainable for quite some time, they have only been able to carry on with the additions of tendered school services and even then they were still unsustainable. Good to see LCC stepping in

You've got to remember, the 464 Versas are the only ones in Transdev which have the same Mercedes-Benz/Daimler engine you would find in a Solo...having been a driver on the route, the engine isn't up to standards for the loadings/demands it was specified for.

Lancashire County Council requires destination and ticket, most other ENCTS places don't require this. I often ask why we can't just get rid of paper tickets for ENCTS and this is the reason always given to us.
