    Megabus Discussion

I Does anyone know where their Volvo DD’s and other Plaxton Panorama’s be allocated which were used on their cross border routes? And where have their Elite i Interdeck coaches gone?

    Megabus Discussion

If that is the case than surely megabus would cease to exist which would be incredibly sad as they have much nicer coaches than NX or FlixBus love going on their double deckers.

    Megabus Discussion

The new website is horrendous, not user friendly, constantly getting errors, other people report similar issues on Twitter (X) don’t know why the felt the need to change what was a polished and working website.

    Megabus Discussion

Oh wow nice, you used to always get Plaxton elite I or panorama with Megabus now it’s just such a mess and they’ve reduced the network, the Volvos are nice but I do prefer the Panorama. 15 inter decks is quite a lot of they aren’t using them then I wonder what’s going to happen to them. What are...

It’s because performance is needed on that route with a tight timetable and short turnaround time which is often just 5 mins at SHP.

IET's grounded - what would you run?

Put 3rd rail equipment and replace the AWFUL 455’s on Southern. C2C Class 387 should have been sent to Southern! It’s in the flipping colours!

Class 377/6-7’s | 387’s interior middle lighting never on?

Update: Everyone is pretty much right. It’s emergency lighting! Shunter Jack who works for Southern kindly gave me a detailed explanation via Twitter. Thanks for everyone’s help! I was just so curious for many years but now I know the answer

Class 377/6-7’s | 387’s interior middle lighting never on?

I guess so but you never know it could be a warm LED light. I think the reading lamps and the spot lights would look better than the main lights.

Class 377/6-7’s | 387’s interior middle lighting never on?

I have a question that’s been bugging me for years now regarding the lighting on Bombardiers last Electrostar trains. The Class 377/6, Class 377/7 and Class 387’s. I have noticed that there are LED lights that run down the middle of each coach similar to that of what you see on an East Midlands...

GTR Electrostar refurbishments: 377s and 387s

Would be nice if the class 377 refurbishment retains its current seats but optimise its for a 2x2 layout across all coaches and provide more 2 seaters. Would also be helpful if they improved first class because its abysmal compared to other TOC's. Secondly, but most importantly, why is southern...

When will Southern's ageing Class 455/8 get replaced?

Another thing Is that since the May 2018 timetable there is only one repetitive working 377/6 or 377/7 on the Victoria - Crystal Palace - London Bridge/West Croydon route. Why is this? They used to be so many more.
