Had the contract through this week. If you've passed medical the course place is yours so don't worry. You could always give HR a nudge to get it sent out asap because of your notice period.

Congratulations to everyone on this thread that's made it through. Finally got the OK today after a slight medical hiccup and start course on 5th Sept. Absolute dream come true, can still barely believe it.

I sat in the talent pool for 6 months after passing all the psychometric assessments and dm interview only to be told the job had been pulled. Don't give up hope though.

That is exactly what happened to myself for a depot drivers position at Blackpool a month or so ago. It seems very unethical to give the impression that you have passed for a job and kept waiting for six months only to be told thanks but no thanks. It's a pretty lousy way to treat people in fact.
