These would appear to the additional services that were scheduled today between Norwich and Cambridge due to the engineering works between Diss and Ipswich. There would be a number of spare units but sadly south of the blockade at Ipswich and Colchester. I would still have expected some spare...
Until 2019 the wires on platform 1 were only used by the Freightliner electric locos going between the yard and their old stabling point which didn't require the full platform length. Not sure if there were any other considerations that prevented the instalation of wiring the whole platform...
The daily diagram would normally be the 10:00, 15:00 and 20:00 from Liverpool Street. There was disruption following an incident this morning which has meant that it was on the 17:00 this evening. A week or so ago there was an additional diagram with 755s for a couple of days.
Greater Anglia have confirmed that services to Hertford East will recommence tomorrow subject to final repairs and safety checks.

A very disruptive final day so far with signalling cable theft preventing anything going beyond Shenfield into London.
In relation to the outgoing operator, compared to a number of others I have experienced in the country they will be a hard act to follow. We have been quite fortunate in the...
A visit to the wheel lathe was my only conclusion too. Its been happening for a few weeks now.

The 14:30 up was boosted by another unit and is 11 coaches.
Realtime Trains has 745107 on the 19:00. Looks like another 745 had problems at Harlow Town this afternoon. The 755 fleet are certainly proving their worth and flexibility today.
Have seen their cancellations today have generally either been a shortage of train crew or train faults. Tomorrow's 5:30 will terminate at Crewe due to a shortage of train crew. Fortunately I checked in advance instead of expecting the 15:32 from Chester to run today.
I visited Liverpool today partly to see these units for the final time.
507001 is out on its own. It was on the diagram 1 from above (11:21 from Hunts Cross) but was on the 13:12 from Southport departure.
507010 and 507029 ran empty from Kirkdale and were on that 12:42 from Southport instead...
There was a four coach yesterday or Wednesday on RTT but journey check said that those service would now be formed of 11 instead of 4 coaches. The rest of the 755 diagram today on RTT had 11 coaches.
If it is anything like I have seen on the 745s in the past, the doors are locked out of use and they have a "no entry" barrier belt to prevent access to the coach. Not that it prevents passengers ducking underneath it to make their way through the train.
