Various battery boxes available from Maplin. I have used the D cell and the AA ones in Bardic conversions with LED bulbs, the only complaints have been from the heritage railways's footplate crew about being dazzled - oh well!

Where I worked, the management tried to ensure that if you dealt with the casualty at the scene, then someone else went to see the family / next of kin. I agree with you totally - dealing at the scene is never good, but IMHO better that than having to deliver the agony message.

Brilliant! It is good to have some nice publicity about the good job done by many staff each day that normally go unnoticed by the travelling public.
