I understand that there is also some IKA 'multifrets' used by Groupe CAT (STVA) on the Ford flows (6X41/6X43) with car decks fitted, I believe they are owned / maintained by Touax but might be wrong.

Its definitely still in use, although Google is slightly out of date as all the trees on the former South Shed have been chopped down now.

I am an avid follower of all things "car train" , the double deck wagons seen off to France on the video above were regulars on early Longbridge flows through the tunnel, admittedly cars have grown since then but proves they can be used on that traffic, I suspect they are off for a coat of blue...

On board a service from Birmingham New Street to Lichfield, we were stopped for several moments when the PA on 323's burst into life and a guy with a deep brummy accent said "we apologise for the delay ladies and gentlemen there appears to be someone walking towards us" :lol:
