GWR have posted on Twitter that it's a signal failure stopping them running in or out of Paddington. Judging by the complete lack of service, would suggest it's something slightly more than A signal.
At least last night they managed to run things down the slow lines. Can imagine a lot of crew...

I was on the earlier 2k80 from Reading to Newbury that was delayed at Midgham due to a departing passenger collapsing on the platform. Not a manned station either so driver had to deal with it, unfortunately took 50 minutes for the paramedics. That was only an hour before this other incident so...
Couple of small floods inNewbury this morning. Platform 2 is now open so the Long distance and Bedwyns (from Reading) are running but no stoppers - assume the bay is flooded. Glad I came home early tonight rather than wait for the normal long distance, looks a nightmare on the Reading departure...
