If the current government is making such a pig's ear of it as some people keep insisting loudly, then why do we hear nothing of note coming from the opposition? Probably there's a large dose of "There for the grace of God go I", but their tacit acceptance surely shows that they have nothing...

Two visits so far, no problems with either. First a social club, members only - no problem with spacing, and the opaque screens between tables were worth putting up with for the steward's cheery banter and a couple of pints of Janet's Jungle Juice (strong cider for the uninitiated...) Yesterday...

Personally, I find that is the length of the line, and the fact it goes from seaside to hilly areas through changing scenery, that gives it it's attraction. Lose the Bishop's Lydiard end and you lose any chance of traffic coming from Taunton. Maybe there could be a marketing push for families...

Did you mean "the centre of Wadebridge"? That is a massive conundrum, even with the now existing by pass. I still remember the traffic backed right up Gonvena Hill when the level crossing gates were closed on a summer day!

And yet, according to the latest poll of polls, Conservatives have only dropped 1% since the election, and Labour still remain 8% adrift, the "new leader" effect seeming to have flattened out...
