Kids are capable of figuring some things out for themselves. An example for me was how to use public transport. What does need to be taught has to be done by both schools and parents. Schools can't teach everything, there isn't enough funding for that or hours in the school year. As for your...
I've never seen a time where buggies have had to clear the wheelchair space to allow a wheelchair to board in London. I am sure sure it does occurr though. I have taken many bus journeys in London.
What I have experienced many times is having to move out of the wheelchair space as a standee to...
If the law permits it then you are correct. However I suspect that there would an outcry, numerous complaints to the bus company and I can't imagine management would support the driver. Its never going to happen, lawful or not.
Lets be realistic, if a parent refuses to move a buggy upon request...
At best the driver will make an announcement for the buggy to vacate the wheelchair space, they may even ask a 2nd time if the buggy is not moved from the wheelchair space at the first time of asking.
If the buggy is not moved the drive presumably won't allow the wheelchair user to board as...
The so called 'closing down sale' which isn't a sale at all it seems. I'm glad my local branch closed very soon after Modella took over, it added nothing to my local neighbourhood and looked really run down. No loss really as you can get newspapers and stationary from the supermarket a few doors...
That explains a lot. When I first saw the day 1 highlights on YouTube I was totally confused as to why they were playing cricket in Australia at this time of year and why the weather was as good as it was in Winter.
How would schools go about teaching kids how to use trains? A period a week where they teach general life skills perhaps or do they actually take the kids on a field trip to experience trains? Do you think parents would agree to sign the permission form for such an activity?
I was never taught...
I'm not against an EPL franchise depending on what the ECB do with the profit.
As for today, I am glad to report that Surrey won their match against Lancashire despite having 17 players away at The Hundred and Ben Foakes injured.
I reckon people have less patience these days so want more action than you'll get with a first class match. When I was much younger I would happily watch an entire days play from first to last ball but these days I prefer to have the livestream on in the background than go see my local county...
While I agree about toasters and hair straighteners laptops can't be charged using USB power alone, you need plug sockets. Since 158/9s do some rather long journeys people should be able to charge their laptops.
Men's match. Seen Surrey do that multiple times with no issues. The copyright claim was by MarkScan Enforcement. Can't imagine Middlesex would have been livestreaming if only Sky were allowed to show the match. The match was around halfway into Surrey's innings before the claim. Sky would have...
