Totally agree. I think the first ones with leather seats were the 10x 61 plate E400 hybrids used on the 66 (which have disappeared).

The 18 was corporation too. I think in the early days, tram or trolley bus (Not fully sure of the facts there) the 18 terminated at Burnside. I know in the 80s, Glasgow Corporation ran the 18 to Greenhills. From the time I remember, it ran every 20 mins (Atlanteans) to Greenhills and Central...

The 267 is definitely seeing a lot of deckers. I was looking through the timetables and see that the 21 is now only running 2 per hour, full daytime route, city to Gardenhall. Previously there were also half hourly shorts city to Cathkin/ Springhall, so the 21 did every 15 mins to Cathkin...

Being fair to First, the 90 covers the missing part of the 7 from Asda Toryglen to Rutherglen Main St keeping it as a 10 minute frequency. Due to its route, I don’t think the 90 often runs on time but the timetable shows, both directions, there’s a 7 or 90 from Asda and Main St every 10 mins...

So 9 buses are going, or is it 8 out of those 9??

I’m not 100% sure but I don’t think Larkfield ever had the 18, apart from peaks. What I remember is, the 18 split from: 18 E Kilbride to Summerston, run by Parkhead, L*** UNS Leyland Olympians (some branded for the 18). 16 E Kilbride to Blairdardie run by Knightswood N*** SOS Volvo Olympians...

Agreed. They’ve been away for ages! There were 10 hybrids but only 7 show now. Where did the other 3 go?

Thanks. I thought that too but looks like they’ve not been used for ages (according to Bustimes and the Glasgowbuses app). They were part of the 6 route as low height so would think they’d just go back out with the other diesel low height E400s unless maybe there are other plans for them??

Could be the red buses or orange and black. Who knows. ‘Transforming Transport for Strathclyde’... there’s little on there about transforming travel! Just looking at Glasgow, the ‘transforming‘ is changing bus stops in Glasgow city centre and lanes in Paisley Road West, is that it?? I’m sure...

The 38s initially were confusing but I think people got used to it. Anyone from Alexandra Parade to Giffnock can get any 38. Going to Rouken Glen has a 38+ letter. Eastwood Toll/ N Mearns get a 38. The passengers that still comment on it are ones that use it from Giffnock to city or City to...

I think the 59 went from Mosspark to Kelvindale, mostly Volvo Ailsas, not sure of the route but I’d guess it did go via Glasgow uni.
