Passed the area when on my way by train to Carlisle from Bradford on Saturday, and only one rather rusty diesel shunter there, and not 01507 unfortunately.
I believe it is green and named Venom. So they are visible on passing as I am in Bradford for the weekend and will go to see it, Thanks for your reply,

As the 40th Anniversary of this incident is in a few days time, I raised this subject on another forum, asking if anyone knew which loco was involved. I was informed that it was a Peak - 45076.
It also appears that one of the tracks was reinstated and ok to use, but by that time the decision...
Will this be a "ticket only" event or will you be able to just turn up on the day, please? I have tried to google this event but can't find this info,
