I ended up drenched in lager on the Night Riviera on Friday night, we were at a bit of a cant anyway, somewhere around Chippenham IIRC. Then we begun to round a corner and the pint pot went sideways, soaked me, the wall and my phone charging port.

I was on the Okehampton line earlier and wow was it rough, the guard even commented on it. I was over the bogie which no doubt made it worse but for a split second at one point I thought we were coming off, it was that bad. Was the track relaid when the line properly reopened?

Do those very specific set of circumstances involve the words "London Midland" and "derailment"? Speaking as someone who got caught up in that mess!

One of my family members was being messed around by the NHS a few years back. They wrote to the local MP who was fantastic and got things sorted pretty quickly. So I'd second getting the MP involved, IF you've got a paper trail to show that you have tried to sort it yourself and got nowhere...

Huddersfield has a lounge, unless it's now closed. Always seemed like a random place to have one to me! Would have thought if a TPE managed station was to get a 1st class lounge, Manchester Airport would be the sensible choice.

I fully agree. Was just speculating how it may have been issued, presumably with the OP's compliance, but not physically issued to them. The RPIs should have left the train too presumably.

Easyjet are claiming ATC issues are the reason why several of their flights are delayed this morning. Yet it only seems to be them affected. My Manchester-Belfast flight is 2+ hours delayed, and the one before it was cancelled. Are they trying to dodge compensation or is something going on?
