I completed both online assessments for GWR on Monday. Just received an email to say I was unsuccessful. Absolutely devastated!
They can’t provide any feedback but I have a feeling it could be because I took 50 minutes to complete the first test. Estimate completion time was 20 mins.
Any ideas?

How do TOC’s work out the travel time from your home to station? Do they take an average over the day at several times or is it best case?
I’ve applied to a TOC and my travel time has been between 56 and 85 minutes when I’ve mapped it at various times of day.

Hi, I’ve just completed the two online assessments with GWR for Trainee Train Driver.
The first one claimed to take around 15-20 minutes but it actually took me 50 due to taking my time. Is this something they’ll penalise against?
The second online test I didn’t complete as it timed out after...
I put a call into TFW when I went though the process last year. They said they accept laser eye surgery. Give them a call jus to confirm nothings changed. Although I guess it may be done on a case by case basis. All the best

Blimey that’s a quick turn around from assessment to DMI! I know some people have waited months. I passed my assessment day 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything since.
