172338 was cannibalised shortly after 172333's fire, and by this I mean 333 received one of 338's driving cars. This is still evident today as the final '3' on 172333's transplanted driving car's exterior fleetnumbers is wonky, where the '8' was replaced, whilst the interior fleetnumbers still...

Thanks for that. I had come from Aberystwyth so that explains why we had to change at Shrewsbury. Do you know why it is that they aren't allowed on the Cambrian line?

Today Arriva Trains Wales - 17:33 Shrewsbury to Birmingham International - 158824 + 150236 + 158*** First time I've seen one of their 150s in Birmingham First time I've seen them run a service with three 2-cars
