The 170’s were never planned to stay beyond the end of January and with around 30 755’s in service there is no requirement for the legacy fleet any more.

The internal doors are not at the vestibule end but either side of the body side doors which makes it confusing as to what coach you are actually in.

I heard today that 2 156’s have been hired back from EMT to help cover with the lone 170.

The 745 carry’s it’s own emergency coupler under the coach E. they can only couple mechanical as no electrical box fitted on the 745.
