Excess Fare Liverpool Lime Street to Blackpool South

Hi All

I'm trying to work out what my excess fare would be from Lime Street to Blackpool South

I currently have a 7 day season ticket which cost £54.80 and only want to excess a one-way journey to Blackpool South and all the calculations on here seem to be based on using a single or return ticket.

Any help would be great.

Which two stations is your season valid between?

You can't excess a season.

Buy a ticket from the last station your Season is valid at, to your destination.

The train does not have to call at the station where you change from one ticket to the next (as per condition 19 of the NRCoC).

As Yorkie says, you cant "excess" a Season ticket - not for travelling over-distance or off-route anyway (you can to make a one-off journey from Std to 1st, but that's another story). You need to purchase a ticket for the portion of the journey not covered by the ticket. In this case, it's an Anytime Single between Preston and Blackpool North, costing £7.10.

There is no over distance excess for a season ticket, it is an ordinary single ticket as Yorkie has said. Mind you, I'd love to excess my Llanelli - Swansea monthly to Inverness...
