Yeah this path belowJust seen 810021 in Doncaster, 5q58 I think?
Yes they are. That's still diagrammed a 222 but it is possible there might be more changes by then I guess. Are the 810s on set diagrams? I'm booked on 1F37 (12:32 St Pancras to Sheffield) on 17/10/26 and hoping to try out the 810s.

Hi, Yes there's currently 8 diagramed but only 6 run with a 810.Are the 810s on set diagrams? I'm booked on 1F37 (12:32 St Pancras to Sheffield) on 17/10/26 and hoping to try out the 810s.
Here are the 810 diagrams for the temporary timetable which starts today. The diagrams I have posted previously can be disregarded for now. I believe there is now also a hightened chance of 810s being used on 222 diagrams and vice versa and up to 6 810s will be in use on any of these diagrams

Usually 6 do start the day but 6 don't always end the day. Today has seen 018 fail at East Midlands Parkway. Sometimes 2 fail.Hi, Yes there's currently 8 diagramed but only 6 run with a 810.
Can stop them off the mainline, with less disruption to other trains, maybe?I've noticed there seems to be a lot of units that fail at East Midlands Parkway. Is there a reason for that do you think or am I just noticing a trend that isn't there?
I guess as well it's the last point for a Nottingham train to divert to Derby also? Can stop them off the mainline, with less disruption to other trains, maybe?
Indeed it is.I guess as well it's the last point for a Nottingham train to divert to Derby also?
Was 810 018 the other? Apparently at the aforementioned East Midlands Parkway?016 failed today too earlier today (at Derby) so 2 out of 6 units failed in service.

Not fully certain, but 810021 was mentioned to have been out and about on Mileage Accumulation, so possibly that one?do we know which unit?
As has 023Not fully certain, but 810021 was mentioned to have been out and about on Mileage Accumulation, so possibly that one?
Ah ok, wasn’t aware that 023 was out too, one of the 2 then?As has 023
To be honest could be 021, 023, 024 and 025.Ah ok, wasn’t aware that 023 was out too, one of the 2 then?
maybe 2 units could be coupledTo be honest could be 021, 023, 024 and 025.
All been seen at Aycliffe under doing the usual testing before leaving factory. And ll have been on the section where the 'door mods' are undertaken.
024 was also on test track last week for a couple of hours.
Anyone have any idea when they will go to Lincoln on the 6am trains? Currently is only being run by 222s
It was never going to be the first place they go to, mainly because only a handful of staff sign Lincoln (so would be logistically difficult), but also because in the normal timetable both unit diagrams involve coupling which the 810s still can't do in passenger service yet. Personally I can't see it happening before DecemberAnyone have any idea when they will go to Lincoln on the 6am trains? Currently they are only being run by 222s
I thought that I had seen that 10 car operation in passenger use had been authorised? It was never going to be the first place they go to, mainly because only a handful of staff sign Lincoln (so would be logistically difficult), but also because in the normal timetable both unit diagrams involve coupling which the 810s still can't do in passenger service yet. The managing director stepped down... Who else would you like to see go?So almost a year on from entry we only have 6 units in service each day? That is diabolical. Why are heads not rolling?
Seen on Facebook it was 017 and 020 moving back there.Do we know which unit ran this? https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K04642/2026-09-28
Sorry should have clarified - I think its more the fact that only a few drivers have been trained on 10 car 810 running however it is progressingI thought that I had seen that 10 car operation in passenger use had been authorised?
It's just that not enough serviceable sets available to enable it to be done?
The testing for it all is complete hence why 003 and 004 have returned to Aycliffe due to all relevant testing being finished.
