1V62 pined at Crewe, 1W65 unit vice as a result due to the disruption between Shrewsbury and Crewe - passengers on 1W81 causing a disturbance at Wem, and the guard of 1W81 between Cardiff and Crewe works 1V62 back to Cardiff.

Diagram 2 has been a unit all this week, that appears to be continuing into next week with the timetable already updated to remove first class from those services next week.

Looked like 5 of 7 Mk4 sets were out of service today for various reasons. That compounded with the 197 maintenance issues meant for a very cosy 2-coach trip to Manchester… frustrating when the Mk4 experience is so good when it runs!
Looks like only 2 of the 4 diagrams covered today too

Looking at RTT the 1038 Swansea-Manchester says the following
standard only between Swansea and Nantwich, first & standard from Nantwich.
Seems an odd place to start First Class from!
The 1446 from Swansea which is also a MK4 says its standard class throughout.

Is 1W11 planned to be a unit for the whole week, or will there hopefully be a swap out on 1W59/1V50 tomorrow? Also, wouldn't 1W11 have been a unit tomorrow anyway, given that HD02 requires a B exam at Crewe and, obviously, Canton can't hold more than 2 sets unless there are exceptional circumstances?
Should be able to swap something onto the diagram from Crewe on Tuesday meaning 1W11 will be Wednesday for a Mk4.
HD02 should have left Canton days ago but theres been many issues getting it gone, thats why an extra set was swapped out yesterday to accomodate Canton having more than planned.

Ignore the bit about 1W11 etc, that diagram is now withdrawn and replaced by a 3 car 197 diagram Monday-Friday this week so nothing will swap in even if one became available.Ahh thank you.
Same next too then back to normal w/c 4th August. Could well be a result of losing HD03 to repairs.
