Hi mate can I just ask what depot you have applied for? I'm still waiting on my DMIHi All, so i have my DMI coming up in a couple of weeks, was wondering what WM Trains sort of ask regarding questions for the interview, any insight would be helpful![]()
Hiya I'm also in training and on week 5 now. All I can say is that I love every second of it. Don't get me wrong it's intense, there is a lot of information thrown at you but it's at a good pace so you get enough time to absorb it. Also home revision is very important if you want to pass the exams. I revise every evening for an hour just to go over what I have learnt that day as like I said you can feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information thrown at you. Its not hard information it's just the amount. As part of the training you do front ending which is going out with a driver for cab experience so Im up with the driver following his every move. Its fantastic . I hope this helpsHow is the training going? I am due to start soon so would be good to know what the first few weeks are like

Yeah I had the same emails and same tests sent to me about 10 minutes before you (for Coventry).I applied for the Wolverhampton trainee train driver role 22/5/2026. At least I've got further than the application stage for this last time!
Received an email 18/6/2026 to say "Next Steps – OPC Online Sift" sometime in July.
Received an email 3/7/2026 saying "You will receive an email directly from The Occupational Psychology Centre (OPC) by close of business on Friday 10th July 2026"
I received the email today (6/7/2026) for the OPC:

Have you done the latter 3 tests?Yeah I had the same emails and same tests sent to me about 10 minutes before you (for Coventry).
Just remember to take your time with the latter 3 tests. First one is just a check on whether you live within 60 minutes, over age of 20, etc etc.
Good luck on them!
It's my first time applying for this position so I'm pretty pleased I got past the initial application. Only gonna get more challenging here on out.
Have you done the latter 3 tests?
If so how were they?
I’ve messaged youAnyone else for Crewe still waiting for their DMI invite?
Yes it does log you out, well better said you only have log out option to choose from , so you cant even go back to main menu and if you try to login it would say you do not have any tests to complete. You did all good, dont worry ( well if not then its two of us thenAnyone completed the sift tests?
When you did the last one, just logs you out right?
Sounds silly I know, but thought there'd be a next steps or thanks page or something
Yeah its logged me out as well. So I think its just standard to log you out upon completion and if you try to log back in, it delivers an error messageAnyone completed the sift tests?

Thank you for that and I think I know where my certificates are so should be ok but thanks for the heads up. Also just to add that you need to have GCSE maths and English at least a C grade. If you have this then they will need the certificates to prove you have done them otherwise you will have to sit a maths and English exam again. So if you did them years ago and haven't got them id suggest contacting the exam board you did them with and requesting another copy
Why have you?Has anyone just done the OPC enhance test for WMT? How did you find it?
I did back in October last yearDid anybody on here apply for Coventry?
