Did anyone get an email saying the VSE assessment has been cancelled due to the heat wave ?
What date did you have booked.
I know this week we’re having emergency speed restrictions due to the high heat so trains are gonna be cancelled last minute etc.

I've seen many people say that they ask the same 6 questions that have been posted on here, is that still the case?
I had my MMI last Wednesday and can confirm that is still the case on both fronts.

You get both. They say the 21 questions will not be marked against your performance of the interview, not sure why that is the case. Hope that makes sense. I was the last one to leave the room for the stj. Thank goodness it wasn’t timed. This is done before the interview. We were given a break in which my interviewer came to have a chat and give me the pre interview form which she left with me. She was about to conduct an interview before mind and said there would be a wait of around 45 minutes until she was ready for me.
Have you gotten any interview dates yet? You should drop them an email every so often for an update. Wonder if they prioritise people who live closer to the depots?
Hello all, just wanted to come on here and say that I sat my DMI today for ashford and I just got a phone call not even 6 hours later to say that I’ve passed! I’m buzzing right now and I’ve got my medical booked for 2 weeks time! The interviewers at ashford were honestly amazing and made me feel right at ease from the get go!

Congratulations mate. Sounds like you had a good experience. Any tips or advice for us still waiting on dmi? Haven’t really seen anyone on here that applied for Charing Cross/ Prove Park although I was told at my MMI that I will now be in the Charing Ceoss/Victoria talent pool which is perfect for me.

I would say just make sure you do as much preparation as you can, swat up on the company values and policies and make sure you know that TPWS sheet pretty much word for word. The rest is pretty easy, as long as you can put answers together and show that you want the job, you’ll be fine!
It has increased quite considerably metro stations about £33,000 for the first 10 weeks training, pass that then it jumps to £40,000 whilst doing your DI training.

Yeah it's about 30k now.
Well done I know the feeling, I passed on Monday and that phone call was just incredible, I must have said thank you about 10 times lol.

Yep, we had to do the SJE which was a breeze and then they gave us a sheet of the same 6 questions others gave mentioned.

Nice! Those are the depots I am with. I wholeheartedly agree that the ladies at the assessment centre are amazing. I felt at ease when I had mily MMI. Can you remember who interviewed you? I had jemma for the interview, Kayleigh for the stj and Lisa oversaw the test centre assessments.

Got training starting in a few months. What are you usually asked to bring with you on day one?
I brought a notebook, pens, pencils, etc., but when I was training last year, the first day was just an induction experience, get to know everyone, some group work, etc., and once we actually started in the classroom, they gave us things like notebooks, pens, pencils and highlighters.
Just bring yourself, some food and something to drink, the food is pricey around the training centre in Ashford, unless you walk into town but you generally don’t have enough time.
Within the 1st week of induction you’ll be given your rucksack, company phone and tablet plus pens and books etc and order your uniform sizes.
