I did mine on Sunday morning I am on online stage part 2So have done SJT ON saturday arpund midnight as was abroad so straight after getting home before 48hrs deadline. People were getting response in 5min, I waited for mine till Monday 11am but first small step passed so don't get worry if you don't get answer straight away
Check your portal to check what Assessments have been completed an which is awaiting for a responseOMG….. so I’ve just had the “you passed the SJT test, now do the error checking test” because I thought it had auto submitted, I emailed and asked them to reset it. Not sure what I should do, do the test again or wait for the results of the test I actually did on Saturday, assuming they haven’t been wiped….![]()
My portal shows I have one assessment pending. I completed assessment 2 on Saturday, however this was after I emailed them on Friday asking for them to re set it as I got timed out while doing the example questions on Friday and it showed the test as being complete. I went back in and discovered I could still open and sit the test so I did, as I didn’t want to risk it timing out. I’m now waiting to see other people posting here about receiving an email after the 2nd assessment, if I don’t get one, that means what I did on Saturday is null and void and I’ll need to sit it again. I don’t want to do it twice unnecessarily because it may look as if I’m trying to take advantage of the situation which could reflect badly on me.Check your portal to check what Assessments have been completed an which is awaiting for a response
How is the error checking test, pretty simple?I completed my 2nd assessment today, after waiting over the weekend to see if I’d passed the 1st. I pretty much instantly got an email back to say I’d passed the 2nd assessment, but will need to wait up to 2 weeks for them to filter through who they’ll be taking forward in the process.
Yeah, it’s not too bad. Good test of concentration. How is the error checking test, pretty simple?
Yes, came through pretty much straight away, see my post above.Has anyone got a response back after completing the 2nd test (error checking test)?
There’s nothing in the email after the 2nd assessment stating we have to wait for 2 weeks? Mine just said it’s with the hiring manager..I completed my 2nd assessment today, after waiting over the weekend to see if I’d passed the 1st. Some of you are so impatient that I don't think a train driving job is for you
Did it say you’d successfully passed? Mine says the next stage of the process could take a couple of weeks but didn’t mention the hiring manager. There’s nothing in the email after the 2nd assessment stating we have to wait for 2 weeks? Mine just said it’s with the hiring manager..

Literally, what do people think train drivers do at a red signal? It's literally a waiting gameSome of you are so impatient that I don't think a train driving job is for you
Wow... wonder if everyone have a lot of time and probably many will do correct how will they choose people for next stage5 examples not timed
Are you forced to complete the assessment once you start the examples? Or can you do the examples and come back to it later on?5 examples not timed

Okay thank youI can't say but when I have done previous tests - I even recognised some of the questions were the same - for other areas of First before, it's fine to leave the examples and return to the test later. The jobs portal may make it look like you can't but you can - but don't hold me to that.
Yeah, so similar I have done in past for another First Group carrier. If I remember they were timed in the pastIt's not a difficult test to grasp so I feel that is enough examples. All you are doing is comparing data between a table of 6 rows and 4 columns, against a single row below, and identifying which columns (e.g. "Carrier Name" or "Priority") don't match the single row below. Your speed and accuracy will both be judged, you can't try for one or the other, it has to be a balance.

I don't personally ever remember the examples being timedYeah, so similar I have done in past for another First Group carrier. If I remember they were timed in the past
I and others already have. Read above.Anyone cares to share what does the 2nd assessment entails?
Also, would you be risking your test centre pass from another TOC if you got to the test centre for this vacancy?
