Time for some clues. Nearest large city is Munich , line is normally dmus but because of max the mole digging elsewhere class 245’s on dostos were provided.

Nope. Station we were waiting at has staggered platforms,we were on platform one which the vast majority of trains use unless crossing with another train. Platform two out of view.Single track otherwise either way from here. Most trains cross at next station down the line.

That’s the one!Max the mole was digging between Munchen and Muhldorf so the 245’s and dostos were instead being used between Landshut and Rosenheim via Muhldorf.I managed to get four new 245’s of the five which were out leaving just one to get of the Muhldorf locomotives.

Goodness - wasn't expecting that! OK - so here's another one. Country should be obvious - but which station? Bit mean, I know, to block almost the entire shot with one of those noisy, smelly train things!B0011995 (2013_10_27 18_26_03 UTC)_censored.jpg

Getting slightly warmer...
Clue - the blanked out destination is neither Cuxhaven, Hamburg-Harburg nor Hamburg Hbf.

Probably also fair to say that the photo is getting on for 20 years old (22/10/2007, to be precise)
