Coach 20002 broke down on 4th Feb at 22:40 ish down A63 due to an AdBlue leak (went from 100 to 38 just from there to OP Tesco apparently), so will probably spend some time out of use

An unidentified MMC is in the new livery

Probably 20919 as its been out of use since 2025 (could also be 20923 but the stickers next to dest board are same as 20919 from what I've seen of the new livery MMC)
Found these on Facebook

20891 has been repainted into a base yellow livery. Any reason why? Is it a special livery, up for transfer or a new brand for Beachcomber?

Beachcomber’s getting a rebrand and I think it will look like the kite livery

B7RLE 21008 & E200 MMC 20307 have been moved from the Go Ahead West Yorkshire fleetlist to the Procters fleetlist. The latter is a Go Ahead West Yorkshire vehicle based at Leeming Bar so likely has been covering for another vehicle on the 'Dales & District' services.

Timetables for this weekends timetable changes still don’t appear on EYMS’ website?
They do now. However, it was mentioned in the service changes that Procters timetables would also be on EY's website and (aside from the 182) this does not seem to be the case yet.

EY is set to launch Child verification on their app for tickets:
Child tickets (for under 16s) available through the East Yorkshire Buses mobile app will soon require a quick, one-off verification to confirm eligibility.

It’s important that we ensure that only those who are entitled to the discounts are using them. By making sure these tickets are only used by those who are eligible, we can help keep fares fair and protect child ticket prices for the future.

How will verification work?

When verification launches, customers will be guided through a simple, one-off process directly in the East Yorkshire Buses mobile app.

Child tickets that require verification will be clearly marked, and the app will guide you step by step through what to do.

More information, including when verification will go live, will be shared soon.

Considering that First, Arriva, Transdev, etc, do not require child verification to be uploaded onto their respective app to purchase a child ticket, why does EY? Why should any parent trust EY with their child's ID (ie passport)? Are there really *that* many adults purchasing and using child tickets that EY feels the need for this to be introduced? It seems a bit over the top, providing ID on the bus if needed (like pretty much every other company does should they feel it necessary) is surely far simpler and safer from a data perspective.

Perhaps it is a bigger problem and they're the first firm to take steps?

No adult should be purchasing a child ticket so I don't blame them for clamping down on it. Personally I'd axe all child fares with all fares payable being adult ones, problem solved. For those who say what about the parents, err plan finances well in advance? It's what I've done anyway.

So are you suggesting some kind of pass like the ZipCard in London for children then? Of course fare dodging is a problem, but are there really so many adults using child tickets? Why should children have to pay Adult fares because of what adults do?

Not exactly the biggest thing, but I noticed at York the other day that the X45/X46/X47 have moved stops from RC to RD though the timetables don't reflect this
This has now been reflected in the timetable changes from this Sunday.
