Cheers for the extra info @ExRes, yes just seen the 47s have also been storedSuggestion, by rumour, on WNXX forum that they may be joined by 003, 005, 007, 014 & 016 in store or as yard pilots, seems rather odd
Also reported that 47727 & 47739 have been stored along with 'X' status 47749

I think my first shot of it was 10th September when it was heading back to Longport. I think it appeared a few days before that.Hasn't 015 only been in service for about 6 months?
Effectively 3 months. It did the SVR GBRf gala in early September and then straight to Longport and it wasn't released into traffic until 24 October.Hasn't 015 only been in service for about 6 months?
What's the alternative?I'm sure it makes sense somewhere to store almost brand new locos, but I'm not immediately seeing it myself

Perhaps this is just temporary whilst the first sheds get off-leased. At which point they'd be introduced? What's the alternative?
Yes - and I'm told that the Goole service has ceased running altogether.Have they stopped running the 69s on the Middleton Towers sand runs?
Is this a confirmed stored list please?Tuesday afternoon update

Thank you. So pretty much all of them then. It’s what shows on TOPS
S status explained
Locomotive is stored in a serviceable condition but should have an exam before being used.

What won’t have helped them was the loss of the southern Gypsum contract to Freightliner nee Heavy Haul. It was also a handy way for GBRf to get locos between Eastleigh and Tonbridge. To add to that, the lines ending with S are stored in serviceable condition as opposed to the likes of U (unserviceable), and X (on exam).
Not sure why they're stored though? Other than RHTT and Eastleigh Hoo trips, they do nothing down south ...
The short answer is no.A quick question.
Is 69015 visible from any public areas?
Also where would be the best place to see Whitemoor Yard ?
That would be an interesting discussion with your new "friend" inside. Also considering the road to the north only goes to Whitemoor Prison i would avoid poking around the in the bushes there entirely.
