They do promote going to East Grinstead as the best way to get to Gatwick and they have a very high frequency coach service between the two stations so shouldn't cause too many issues and its around the same time.

Some pretty significant delays on the Vic - Gtw services today.
The 18:40 from Victoria arrived 75 minutes late at Gatwick, a 2 1/2 hour journey!
At least they are still persevering with it.

On the 1957 London Victoria to Gatwick Airport. Five minute late start, and now 7 late leaving Epsom.
Hopefully, thats as late as it gets!

Arrived Gatwick Airport 15 seconds short of 1 hour late, according to RTT. Delay repay requested, interesting to see hiw much I'll get.
