Anyone able to identify the 321s at Willesden PRDC? Specifically the one at the Euston end?

So many questions over this weeks run which was halted at Carlisle.

Was it a single or double unit (double now as rescue unit, albeit nothing on Real Time Trains
Was it just a test run / demonstrator or us it full of parcels or were there parcels at Birmingham which were roaded onwards.
Was it runnung down to birmingham to then go onto Wembley and ultimately scrapping.
Bwing a class 1 would suggest revenue. If thats the case why is it still at Carlisle.
Was this the final throw of the dice.

In September they just used their existing paths to move stock from Willesden to Mossend, so an empty train ran as a Class 1 from Willesden to Birmingham and then proceeded almost immediately to Mossend.

So what ran and failed at Carlisle could have just been some more 321s headed to Willesden PRDC for decommissioning and onward move to scrap?

I understand it was 321429 which had some kind of problem on departure from Mossend Holding Sidings, went straight back into the yard and then 1M05 departed for a second time running 103 mins late (not sure if it was originally running as one unit or two).

The cancellation at Carlisle might have been due to the late running (as suggested in post #244) rather than encountering another issue at Carlisle.

I think the holding sidings at Mossend are where electric locos (and previously 325s) are stabled, at the south end on the up side away from the parcels platform. Departing from there would suggest it was a stock move or test run using the class 1 WTT path (as per post #252).

321428 / 321429 are seen in Mossend Holding sidings in July:

Edit: Found this video from Leslie Gilpin Railways of Carlisle movements on Monday 15th.

At 34:20 in the video, 321428 + 321429 arrive at Carlisle on 1M05

Those 321s appear to have had rather extensive graffiti removal since I last saw 321428 in late June which is good to see. Presumably what's on there now is a more recent addition as previously almost all of the ex-GA livery was completely covered...

There’s a path (1GO3) from PRDC reception sidings to Birmingham International on 24th December.

Is Phil Read going on a Santa cruise, or perhaps the ghost of Ted Rogers is taking a pair of 321s out for a spin ?

Sandwiched in between 321334 & 321341 in Willesden Railnet Reception Sdgs (next to Willesden Brent Sdgs/Euston side of Willesden PRDC), possibly just about visible from the WCML if there's no intermodal trains parked up on Willesden up/down goods and the bushes aren't too dense?

If they are not running reliable services in the Black Friday to Christmas peak parcels period then I wonder what their business plan actually is?

Video shows the 321s in the daylight. Still has a bit of Graffiti, not nearly as bad as some of the other fleet members.
