As it happened: Man, 32, treated as only suspect in train stabbing as staff member in life-threatening condition, police say
British Transport Police say the "heroic" man who tried to stop the attack remains in hospital. Five others have been discharged.www.bbc.co.uk
But as far as I'm aware there's not been any official confirmation of which train the incident took place on. It may be obvious to those of us who can read a signal map on OTT and look up a headcode on RTT, or who have access to internal incident logs, but the media generally can't and don't.We are aware of an incident involving one of our trains. Our immediate concern is for the welfare of our customers and crew who are on board. We are in the process of gathering all the details we can and are liaising with British Transport Police.
