A VSTP path for 5Q74 has appeared for tomorrow, but as yet there is no path for a locomotive to Wimbledon Park to haul it, but that could appear later?

Looks like we need a new Grim Reaper to take the de facto Grim Reaper away ;)
Living down in South Wales I regularly make trips over to Newport for these moves, if I had one quid for every time I've seen 37800 down here, I think I'd be living the life!

Presumably 5Q76 out of Willesden RailNet will be cancelled in favour of the 455 scrap drag?

Any idea what’s going on with 5870/5873? I haven’t seen either in service for about a week now.
I saw 455 873 out and about on Thursday. Didn't see what it was with.

Give me a few minutes and I'll search RTT at around the time I would have seen it and I'll report back...

Found it... it was with 455 716. Screenshot below:

Unusual 2x455 working today.

The Portsmouth Direct is closed between Guildford and Havant, meaning all up trains are starting from Guildford. The 14:04 fast service, calling at Woking and CLJ only, is formed of 2x 455s. Meanwhile several New Line trains are formed of 2x 450s.

Will be interesting to see whether the 455s can keep time (timetabled 40 minutes). IIRC they're 75mph max?

Edit: won't find out now, as it was cancelled due to lack of a driver.

Interesting, it did okay.

I was quite disappointed when the 14:04 was cancelled, I'd picked a seat in the motor coach and was looking forward to hearing the traction motors at full chat on the Up Fast

Sadly I slept in a bit too much to experience any of the days diversions

This morning morning 0739 Reading to Waterloo is 8 455 vice 10 701 and 0809 Reading to Waterloo is 4 455 vice 5 458/5, but nothing on Journeycheck for formation changes so I assume these are actually new 455 diagrams!!!!!

Not to mention THREE 4 vice 8 458/4s on Windsor, Reading and Weybridges, not looking a good day for the Windsor side...

According to RTT, ten of the remaining 455/8s, only six were active, the other four (852 863 864 870) doesn’t have any allocations
