also 466022 was on the medway valley line yesterday and there is a 50:50 chance of it either going on the sheerness branch or the MVL tomorrow, how many units are used on the sheerness branch on sundays? :)

The original specification was for full scale refurbishment but instead all were gonna get is a repaint with new seats. Although the 465/2/9s & 466s are better of with their new passenger information systems that the 465/0/1s will not get :)

466022 was on one of the Sheerness Line diagrams today - I took a photo of it earlier.

And only 1tph tomorrow means only one 466 needed on both the Sheerness and MV Lines ....

The Medway valley line uses two, one from Tonbridge and one from Gillingham on sundays but Mondays to Saturdays its 1 466 from Slade Green and 2 from Gillingham. :)

Hi is 321415 still in Silverlink livery? Other than the 508s (there are 15 508s out of service which is a disgrace) this is the final example?

LM continue to hold on to 321411-417 then despite rumours they were cutting back the fleet?

Why is the fact that there 15 508s OOS a disgrace? The fact the that we no longer are needing to rely on 32 year old units as much is fine with me :)

Forgot about the East Anglia ones!

Well Southern could take them to further increase capacity and refurbish them like the 313s. Silverlink had a micro fleet of 313s but here we're talking 15 so it can be done! Do they lack toilets also?

South West Trains could lease them too although Merseyrail would obviously be ideal...

No-one wants the SET 508/2s ... they are in so poor a state and have no certificates (IIRC) ... Even after a refurbishment and relivery for 6 of them ...

How many East Coast rakes wear the new livery? Is the pace finally quickening up because there appear to be a few around in the new livery now.

I take it there is no firm timescale.

I think the flying scotsman livery would be a good overall livery with black doors

Is it unclear if the EMT set will be repainted? I have heard suggestions only

for anyone interested recently repainted 466006 returned to service yesterday and was on the medway valley line where it failed! 375912 took over its services until 1400 when 466010 replaced it! :) terrible met-cam notworkers

Both 466023 and 466032 returned from Doncaster today just looking for the unit(s) that went up.

321415 now in LM livery.

From thejunction.org:

"321415 - freshly repainted into London Midland livery - has returned from Doncaster to Northampton, being noted on the ECML on June 30th."

315850 was last used in autumn 2008. I hope they get that one back on the running rails soon - it's been a fair old while!

What I do find surprising is that they haven't repainted their 315s yet. I know they had 317s in the debranded 'one' livery and they did get repainted, but on the whole the 315s are in poor external condition.

Are 315 859 and 321426 still OOS?

London Midland are keeping more of their 321s for longer than originally expected then.

To confirm 321411-417 are in traffic with LM and in LM livery now. Thejunction is not so up to date on the livery listings section
