I was surprised they came up with March April dates. I was told that they were waiting for may dates for July offers .
Yeah Same here. I believe they really don’t have an idea when dates will be available to them so they give a guess.

I was told May for my August date so I’m just twiddling my thumbs waiting for the phone call / email!
Although in their reply, the word ‘maybe’ was said about 7 different ways lol

Hey guys
Ive Been a CSA now for 3 years. I found the shift work very challenging at first but then I got myself into a pattern and things got a little easier, still tough especially with the split rest days but I made it work. Due to new roasters across the network many part-time positions came available so I nominated straight away and I got a AM Monday-Friday position and I absolutely love it. So for those who have family commitments or carer duties it’s not impossible to change from full time to part time..not saying it will happen straight away but you can always nominate and be on the list some groups have fewer people waiting.

I totally agree with @bluegoblin7 be very
careful with booking off sick for holidays it never goes down well..

Good luck to all the new starter..xx

Had my conditional at the start of September and medical at the start of November - nothing this far on a possible training date.

I did give them a call yesterday to see if there was any update and spoke to somebody, she just said the usual "processing July candidate dates" and that was it. She wouldn't give me an estimate and told me to wait for the call.

She did say I'd have to probably update some screening stuff as the previous ones would have expired by the time I get a start date. I'm guessing the DBS check or medical, hopefully nothing else as my current employer has scrapped the HR department and is now based centrally at head office (going to be a nightmare to process references of needed again)

I think I'm just going to stick this job to the back of my mind now as the wait is killing me, getting into TFL is one of the best things to happen in my work career and I can't wait to start. My current job sadly is starting to test my patience and sticking it out is one of the hardest things I've ever done - for those of you who have ever been stuck in a job you despise you'll fully understand the feeling.

Anyway I think I'll just wait patiently now for the next few months and keep an eye on over posters on this forum, hopefully some August applicants get the call soon.

August candidates will be called late spring is what I have gathered. September will be soon . Hold on tight! There hasn't been any mention of redoing the reference checks. Just DBS and medical so hopefully some relief for everyone. Good luck

No lost property's

Wow you had it all, i might aswell tell you what happened. I thought the more they test you, the more likely you pass. I got lost property and vaping. So the lady comes in the room all agitated, said she left her backpack on the train and all her personal important things were inside. As on the sheet you have to email lost property and it could take upto 15 days so I explained that. She said she needed it right now. Also it says you need to try and solve the issue without getting anyone else involved, I just didnt know what else to do, so took her number and went to the supervisor and pretended to get him to contact the driver or last station got totally messed up myself and then she started vaping told her couldn't do it and then got a phone call that they found her bag and she had to get to a station which I showed her on the map and that was the end. I later asked someone what I had to do in a situation like that and realised without knowing an insider anyone who gets that scenario will fail.

No, but what was the scenario and did you pass??
I got this same scenario, however I told her to calm down reassured her we’d do our best to find the bag. Asked her for the colour and what she had in her bag. Asked her if she had a phone as I would give her the details to contact lost property however letting her know it takes up to 15 days as they’re very busy. It is a bit tricky but I tried to relax and remembered to try give her the best solution.

We shouldn’t be too far away then as I’m early August. Looking like Spring for us
I’m late august I reckon training will be ending of may. So 3 months from now
